Composition:

• Mr. Arun Kumar (Convenor)
• Ms. Priya (Member)

Objectives:

1. Foster Group Dynamics and Social Relationships: The primary objective of organizing tours and trips is to offer students a platform to experience group dynamics, enhancing their understanding of the importance of social relationships. These experiences help students build teamwork, leadership, and communication skills essential for their personal and professional growth.
2. Cultural Awareness and Appreciation: By visiting different parts of the world or the country, students gain awareness of various socio-cultural patterns, value systems, and social practices. This exposure fosters an appreciation for diversity and helps students develop a global perspective.
3. Professional Exposure: Tours and trips to reputed organizations related to students' fields of specialization allow them to understand the functioning and success of these organizations. This real-world exposure complements their theoretical knowledge and provides insights into industry practices, innovations, and career opportunities.
4. Develop Planning and Execution Competencies: Organizing group travel involves meticulous planning, coordination, and execution. By participating in these activities, students develop competencies related to organizing group travel, including travel and accommodation arrangements, itinerary planning, and managing logistical aspects of trips.
5. Observation of Lifestyles and Cultures: The trips encourage students to observe and reflect on different lifestyles and cultures. Such observations deepen their understanding of how various factors like geography, economy, and traditions shape the lives of people in different regions, enriching their sociocultural knowledge.

Procedure:

1. Initial Meeting: Convene a meeting with the principal, convenor, and committee members to discuss the feasibility and logistics of organizing a one-day tour.
2. Consultation with Students: Engage in discussions with class representatives and students to decide on the destination, charges, and date of the educational trip. This participatory approach ensures that the trip aligns with students' interests and academic goals.
3. Parent Consent: Collect consent forms from parents, ensuring that all students have parental approval to participate in the trip. This step is crucial for the safety and accountability of the organizing team.
4. Transportation Arrangements: Once all details are finalized, the committee members will discuss transportation arrangements with the management. This includes booking suitable vehicles, ensuring safety measures are in place, and coordinating pick-up and drop-off points.

Follow-Up:

At the end of the educational trip, students are required to submit a comprehensive report detailing their experiences, observations, and learning outcomes. This report serves as a reflective exercise, encouraging students to articulate their insights and how the trip contributed to their academic and personal development. The follow-up report also helps the organizing committee assess the effectiveness of the trip and make improvements for future tours.
