Objectives:

1. Gather and Share Relevant News and Updates: Actively collect and disseminate important information concerning the institution, including updates about students, faculty, and institutional events, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged.
2. Promote the Institution’s Image and Reputation: Enhance and maintain the institution’s public image by producing high-quality publications that reflect the institution’s values, achievements, and contributions to the community.
3. Disseminate News Through Various Channels: Utilize multiple communication platforms, including newsletters, the institution’s website, social media channels, and local newspapers, to effectively share news and updates with a broader audience.
4. Foster a Culture of Knowledge Sharing: Encourage and facilitate the exchange of information and insights among faculty, students, and the broader community to support a vibrant academic and social environment.
5. Document and Showcase Achievements: Create detailed records and highlight the institution’s milestones, events, and success stories to celebrate accomplishments and build a positive narrative around the institution.

Processes:

1. Content Creation: Collect news and information about various events and achievements from faculty members and other sources within the institution, ensuring that all relevant details are captured for comprehensive reporting.
2. Editing and Proofreading: Carefully review and refine the collected content for accuracy, clarity, and quality. Committee members will collaborate to edit and proofread materials to ensure they meet high standards before publication.
3. Event Coverage: Report on and document institutional events by preparing detailed reports and articles, which will be published in local newspapers and other media outlets to ensure broad dissemination.
4. Online Presence Management: Oversee the maintenance and regular updating of the institution’s online presence, including the official website, social media accounts, and other digital platforms, to keep information current and engaging.
5. Record Keeping: Maintain a systematic archive of all published news and related materials, including articles and photographs, organized in a newspaper record file for future reference and historical documentation.
