Teaching Practice
The main focus of teaching practice is the learning and development of students. Teaching practices aim to foster knowledge, skills, confidence, and positive behaviors in students. Through these practices, teachers guide students in acquiring knowledge, learning new concepts, building self-confidence, and shaping their behavior.
Objectives of Teaching Practice
1. Teacher-Pupil Relationship: Provide prospective teachers with the opportunity to establish appropriate relationships with students.
2. Evaluating Potential: Offer opportunities to assess the potential and suitability of students for the teaching profession.
3. Developing Relationships: Foster personal relationships with administrators, teachers, parents, and students.
4. Practical Experience: Provide future teachers with practical school experience to handle discipline issues and develop control methods.
5. Theoretical Application: Enable student teachers to apply theoretical knowledge in practice and develop a deeper understanding of educational principles and their implications for learning.
6. Lesson Planning: Equip student teachers with the skills to effectively plan and prepare lessons.
7. Procedural Skills: Develop skills in fundamental teaching procedures and techniques.
8. Work Ethic: Encourage a love for work and a desire to perform with maximum efficiency.
9. Clear Thinking: Develop the capacity for clear and critical thinking.
10. Participation Opportunities: Provide adequate opportunities for active participation in various activities.
