Red Ribbon Club

The Red Ribbon Club, an initiative by the Government of India within educational institutions, serves as a movement to elevate awareness about HIV /AIDS among the students. This voluntarily on-campus intervention programme concentrates on educating students about HIV/AIDS ,voluntarily blood donation ,mental health, substance abuse, nutrition and reproductive and sexual health. This club’s overarching goals are to in still charity values, promote healthy lifestyles and advocate for regular voluntarily blood donation.

Vision

The Red Ribbon Club envisions instilling values of service, healthy living and accessible blood donation among the students. Its aim is to equip youth with accurate information about various health aspects including mental and reproductive health.

Mission

The mission of the Red Ribbon Club is to educate and empower children and youth with the spirit of the Red Cross through effective training and leadership. It seeks to channel their energy and idealism into meaningful humanitarian activities.
The red ribbon club plays pivotal role in increasing awareness of HIV/AIDS among the young people and society at large. By actively involving students and faculty in various awareness activities, workshops and events, the club contributes significantly to promoting the safe practices, reducing stigma and supporting those affected by the disease. Continually expanding and strengthening such clubs is crucial for creating a healthier and more informed society.
