Guru Nanak College of Education was established with the blessings of Baba Puran Singh Ji to promote education in technical and other professional streams in areas where people had remained deprived of such educational facilities. Since its inception, the Trust has been running institutes of various professional streams suiting the needs of the local population. Under the dynamic leadership of Er. Parmjit Singh, Founder Chairman of the Trust and its institutions, has made landmark developments in the field of education quickly. The sincere, dedicated, and continuous efforts of Er. Parmjit Singh & his team have brought revolution in the different fields of education in Hoshiarpur and its adjoining areas. The services of Er. Parmjit Singh has been well-recognized both at the national and international levels. He has received various awards for his individual & institutional achievements along with distinguished services to the nation.

Er. Parmjit Singh was declared “BEST CITIZEN OF INDIA” by International Publication House, New Delhi.
Er. Parmjit Singh was also awarded with best citizen award for Education Development on 12th Nov, 2016 at Goa by The Economic for Health and Educational Growth, New Delhi.
It is matter of great pride for our Trust that the Vice Chairperson of the Trust Smt. Aravindar Kaur is also awarded with “BHARAT EXCELLENCE AWARD” by Friendship Forum (Regd.) New Delhi. This award was presented by Ch. Randhir Singh Hon’ble former Governor of Sikkim.
In November 2015 worthy Chairman has visited Canada along with a Delegation of Associated Chamber of Commerce and Industry, India (ASSOCHAM). The key aims of the visit were to explore the opportunities in the field of education and skill development for enhancing bilateral relationships with community Colleges and Universities of Canada. Main thrust was also given on immigration of our students to Canada. To provide training as per International standard and to enhance the exposure of our students, worthy Chairman personally met the Prominent Professors like Prof. Robert G. Rosehart, Prof. Wilfrid Laurier University of Waterloo, Prof. Christopher Pringle, Director Industry and Government Relations University of waterloo. They assured all types of help in this matter. We hope that the visit of our Chairman will be fruitful for our students in the future.
Immediate result of the visit of worthy Chairman was visit of Mr. Klaudios Mustkas former Senior Manager of the Canada Border Service Agency (CBSA) and Citizenship and Immigration Canada (CIO) and presently Advisor to Pace Law Firm, Toronto Canada. He visited all our Institutes and interacted with students, staff and parents. He appreciated the infrastructure sand facilities being provided to students. A consortium has been established with him to help the students of our Institutes to migrate to Canada for studies and services purposes.
Since last two decades, the activity growth of Trust is truly phenomenal. It has established Engineering College, Pharmacy College, two Polytechnic colleges, two I.T.I.(s), two B.Ed & E.T.T Colleges and one Sr. Sec. School. All the Institutions are approved by the competent authorities of the Govt. The Trust, right from its inception, has a vision to prepare the individuals who not only are professionally competent but are also personally enlightened so that they could perform their duties as responsible citizens of the country successfully in whatever field they are.
The Trust takes pride that the outgoing students of its institutions have also found successful career placements and a large number of them are positioned in leading companies in coveted positions in India and Abroad.
