Co-curricular activities are an integral part of the educational curriculum, encompassing more than just classroom teaching and learning. They include various activities such as working in laboratories, utilizing the library, participating in sports, and engaging in playground activities. These activities foster informal interactions between teachers and students, contributing significantly to the overall development of students.
Objectives of Co-Curricular Activities:

1. Understanding and Importance: To help students comprehend the meaning and significance of co-curricular activities.
2. Moral Values: To inculcate moral values in students through various activities.
3. Leadership: To cultivate leadership qualities among students.
4. Holistic Development: To promote the all-round development of students' personalities.
5. Critical Thinking and Team Spirit: To nurture critical thinking, reasoning abilities, and teamwork.
6. Talent Identification: To recognize and nurture the hidden talents of students.

3. Expert Supervision: Activities are conducted under the supervision of teachers who are experts in the respective fields and are genuinely interested in the activities.
4. Cost-Effective and Practical: The activities are designed to be cost-effective and practical for implementation.
5. Equal Opportunity: Every student is given an equal opportunity to participate in the activities.
6. Teacher as Facilitator:Teachers act as facilitators, guiding and supporting students throughout the activities.
7. Evaluation and Record-Keeping: Each activity is carefully evaluated, and detailed records are maintained for future reference.
8. Location Identification: The convener of the committee ensures that the locations for the activities are fully identified and prepared.
9. Cultural Activities: The committee suggests and organizes various cultural activities throughout the academic year.
10. NSS/NCC Participation: The committee plans and organizes activities under NSS/NCC, encouraging participation in programs such as blood donation camps and flood relief efforts.
11. Sports Calendar: The committee prepares a sports calendar and action plan to implement it effectively.
12. Sports Utilization: Methods are suggested to encourage both students and faculty to utilize the sports and games facilities available at the college.
13. Budget and Infrastructure: The committee is responsible for preparing budget estimates, identifying infrastructure needs, maintaining equipment, and ensuring the upkeep of playfields.
14. Team Selection: The committee selects teams to represent the college in inter-collegiate and intramural tournaments.
15. Attendance Exemption: The committee prepares details of attendance exemptions for students representing the college in various sports and games.
16. Faculty-Student Relations: To enhance relations between students and faculty, the committee organizes exhibition games between student and faculty teams wherever possible.

Feedback by Students and Teachers: Feedback from students and teachers includes both positive and negative aspects:

2. Interference with Studies: Some students feel that these activities sometimes interfere with their academic studies, leading to reluctance in participation.
