Adoption Policy

The Adoption Policy at Guru Nanak College of Education, Dalewal, was initiated by our Worthy Chairman, Er. Parmjit Singh. This policy aims to support students from economically weaker sections of society in the neighbouring areas of the college. Under this initiative, ten students are selected each year for adoption.

The selection process involves identifying deserving students with the help of college staff and local community members. Once potential candidates are identified, our Chairman personally meets with them and their families to ensure they are the right fit for the program. Following this interaction, the selected students, who qualify for the B.Ed. or D.El.Ed. courses, are granted admission without any fees for the entire duration of their course.

This initiative is recognized as one of the college's Best Practices and has received widespread appreciation from the community and the university.
