Improving and Monitoring Environmental Practices Continuous improvement and monitoring are key to ensuring the effectiveness of the green campus initiatives. This involves:
Regular Assessments: Conducting regular assessments of environmental practices and identifying areas for improvement.
Sustainability Metrics: Developing and tracking metrics to measure the campus's sustainability efforts, such as energy use, waste generation, and water consumption.
Feedback Mechanisms: Establishing channels for feedback from students, staff, and the community to refine and enhance green practices.

Conducting Annual Green Audits An annual green audit is a systematic process that evaluates the environmental performance of the campus. This includes:
Assessment of Resources: Reviewing the usage of resources such as water, energy, and raw materials to ensure efficient utilization.
Waste Management Review: Examining waste management practices, including recycling, composting, and waste reduction strategies.
Environmental Impact Assessment:Analysing the overall environmental impact of the campus's operations and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Motivating a Pollution-Free Environment The college is committed to reducing pollution on campus by implementing policies that limit emissions and waste. This includes:
Air Quality Management: Implementing measures to improve air quality, such as banning smoking on campus and controlling dust and emissions from construction activities.
Waste Minimization: Encouraging the reduction of waste through recycling, composting, and proper disposal of hazardous materials.
Water Quality Preservation: Ensuring that water discharged from the campus is treated and safe, and reducing water pollution through effective management practices.

Zero Vehicle Movement on Campus To minimize pollution and promote a healthier environment, the college will enforce a zero-vehicle policy on campus. This includes:
Pedestrian-Friendly Campus: Creating pathways and spaces that encourage walking and cycling.
Electric Vehicles: Encouraging the use of electric vehicles and providing charging stations to support this transition.

No Plastic/Thermocol Zones The campus will establish designated areas where the use of plastic and thermocol is prohibited. This policy includes:
Ban on Single-Use Plastics: Prohibiting the use of single-use plastics such as straws, cups, and bags within the campus.
Alternative Materials: Encouraging the use of eco-friendly alternatives such as paper, cloth, or biodegradable materials.
Awareness Campaigns: Running campaigns to educate the campus community about the harmful effects of plastic and thermocol and promoting sustainable alternatives.

No Disposable Zones The college will create zones where disposable items are not allowed, promoting the use of reusable materials. This includes:
Reusable Utensils: Encouraging the use of reusable utensils, plates, and cups in cafeterias and events.
