Celebration of World Environment Day
Guru Nanak College of Education, Dalewal, celebrated World Environment Day with great enthusiasm to create awareness among students about the importance of environmental protection and sustainable development.
The programme aimed to encourage students to adopt eco-friendly practices and understand their responsibility towards preserving nature. Various activities, including a plantation drive, an awareness campaign, and discussions on environmental conservation, were organized to highlight the importance of protecting trees, conserving water, reducing pollution, and maintaining cleanliness.
The faculty members motivated students to take small but meaningful steps towards a greener and healthier environment. Students actively participated in the activities and pledged to contribute to environmental protection by adopting sustainable habits in their daily lives.
