Trip of GNCE Students

An educational trip to Golden Temple and Jallianwala Bagh was organized for the B.Ed students with the objective of enriching their cultural, spiritual, and historical understanding.

The journey began early in the morning with great enthusiasm among the students. Upon reaching the Golden Temple, also known as Sri Harmandir Sahib, students were deeply impressed by its architectural beauty, cleanliness, and peaceful environment. They paid their respects, listened to the soulful Gurbani Kirtan, and observed the functioning of the Langar system, which reflects the principles of equality, humility, and selfless service. The visit provided a practical understanding of values that are essential in shaping future educators.

Afterwards, the group visited Jallianwala Bagh, a site of great historical importance. The students were briefed about the tragic incident of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre, which played a significant role in India’s freedom struggle. They observed the bullet marks on the walls and the Martyrs’ Well, which created a deep emotional and reflective impact. The visit encouraged students to think critically about history and its relevance in modern education.

Throughout the trip, the faculty members ensured discipline, safety, and active engagement of the students. The experience proved to be highly informative and inspiring, helping B.Ed students connect theoretical knowledge with real-life experiences.

The trip concluded successfully with students returning with enhanced awareness, enriched perspectives, and a stronger sense of cultural and national pride.
